Zueva unveils ‘Forget’, a beautifully nostalgic single from upcoming EP Miss U

Zueva returns this month with a mesmerising new single, ‘Forget’, taken from her forthcoming EP Miss U, due later in 2025. The Oslo-based alt-pop artist delivers another dreamy, introspective track filled with warmth, subtle power, and cinematic flair.

With a swirl of ethereal synths, hushed vocals, and haunting textures, ‘Forget’ captures the complicated beauty of memory. The single was co-written and produced with Snorre Sønderland and recorded in Oslo, bringing a raw yet polished feel to the final sound.

Soft, striking, and emotionally rich

Zueva describes the track as “a nostalgic collage,” both in lyrics and sound. It explores the hazy feeling of losing grip on memories that once meant everything. Soft yet emotionally weighty, the track builds gently, sweeping listeners into its tide of melancholic beauty.

Drawing influence from PinkPantheress, Oklou and Imogen Heap, Zueva creates a sound that feels grounded yet otherworldly. ‘Forget’ doesn’t try to be loud or showy — it lets subtlety do the work. Every moment feels intentional, and each element serves the story she’s telling.

Building on early success

‘Forget’ follows the success of Zueva’s debut EP 5:1, which drew support from NRK P3, Radio Fritz, NBHAP, and Atwood Magazine. That project saw her build a strong fanbase across Scandinavia and beyond.

These live experiences have helped shape Zueva’s sound into something even more assured. There’s confidence here, but it’s never forced. She leans into vulnerability without hesitation, which makes the emotional core of her music feel honest and real.

A glimpse into the world of Miss U

‘Forget’ is the first in a two-part single rollout ahead of the Miss U EP. It sets the tone beautifully. While it looks back, it also offers a sense of movement. There’s pain, but there’s also peace. The result is a track that feels both intimate and cinematic — the kind you want to play on a late-night walk or during a quiet moment alone.

With this new chapter underway, Zueva is stepping into a space that feels entirely her own. If ‘Forget’ is a taste of what’s to come, Miss U could be her most moving and personal project yet.

Fans can listen to ‘Forget’ on all streaming platforms. Keep an eye on her socials for more to come.
