Twin Duo The Elidas Unveil New Single ‘Adam’

Scottish twin sisters Venice and Belle, known musically as The Elidas, are set to release their latest single ‘Adam’ on 28 February. The duo, who currently live in Dubai, split their time between the UAE and their home in the North East of Scotland. Despite still being in school, the sisters have already carved out a promising career in the music industry, signing with Big Panic Records in Atlanta, with distribution through Virgin Music Global.

Known for their acoustic-driven sound, The Elidas have recently begun experimenting with a full live band. However, ‘Adam’ marks another milestone in their artistic evolution—being their first composition centred around the piano. The song, written in Scotland on an out-of-tune instrument, embraces a raw and melancholic vibe, capturing feelings of loneliness and late-night anxiety.

A Growing Career with Big Panic Records

Following the success of their previous singles ‘Prayer for the Blind’ and ‘Lighthouse’, the duo has continued to gain recognition. Their track ‘Lighthouse’ recently secured their first licensing deal with Imagine AI, which will feature the song on its app.

While Venice takes on guitar, keys, bass, and harmonies, Belle primarily leads on vocals—though the two often swap roles. Their music is deeply inspired by the landscapes and culture of Scotland, which they describe as a natural source of creativity.

Although they are set to play some festivals in the UK this summer, the focus will be on songwriting during their time back home. Reflecting on the creation of ‘Adam’, they shared that the track was written with those struggling in mind, particularly those experiencing the solitude of late-night anxiety—feeling like “the only man on earth”.

With a growing fanbase and a distinctive, heartfelt sound, The Elidas continue to establish themselves as an emerging force in the indie music scene. With ‘Adam’ set to drop at the end of the month, listeners can expect an emotionally charged, introspective piece from this talented sibling duo.
