Dutch indie-Americana artist PIEN is set to unveil her latest single, ‘Not Yet’, on 21 February, marking a fresh chapter in her musical journey. Following years of experimentation with various genres—including rock (‘The Witch’), dream-pop (‘Clouds’), and pop (‘WTF’ & ‘Old’)—she has firmly embraced indie-Americana as her signature style.
‘Not Yet’ serves as the first glimpse into her upcoming debut EP, due for release in May 2025. The single is an emotive, uptempo ballad reflecting on the hesitation of opening one’s heart again while still healing from past love. PIEN collaborated with long-time producer Colin Lanz to craft this deeply personal track, which showcases the raw honesty and rich musical textures that define her new sound.
A Rising Star in Indie-Americana
Already making waves on the UK music scene, PIEN has gained recognition through airplay on BBC Introducing (NE & Yorkshire) and Amazing Radio UK & USA. Her previous single ‘WTF’ amassed over 22,000 Spotify streams, and her live performances have captivated audiences at venues such as The Camden Club and 93 Feet East. She has also graced festival stages at Crouch End Festival, Rock at the Castle, and Summer Park Sessions in the Netherlands.
