Izzii Grace to Release New Single ‘Home’ in August
Emerging indie/folk artist Izzii Grace is set to release their latest single, “Home,” on August 23rd, following a summer of standout performances at major festivals like Guilfest, Matchstick Festival, and Bside Festival. This ethereal track, infused with indie and folk elements, promises to captivate listeners with its soothing melodies and evocative lyrics.
“Home” is a continuation of Izzii Grace’s musical journey, following the success of their previous singles “High Priestess” and “Hoodies.” These tracks garnered attention from prominent tastemakers, including Melita Dennett and Connor Mosley of BBC Introducing Surrey and Sussex, as well as Jodie Bryant on Voices Radio.
The new single showcases Izzii Grace’s signature style, blending soft, soulful vocals with lush strings that create a dreamy, otherworldly atmosphere. The song invites listeners on a journey of escapism, with lyrics that serve as a guide to finding solace in a chaotic world. The delicate harmonies and intricate guitar work evoke a sense of floating, providing a musical sanctuary that reflects the artist’s own need for a personal safe haven.
Izzii Grace shares the inspiration behind “Home,” describing it as a pivotal moment in their music career. “Writing ‘Home’ was honestly one of the best parts of my music career. Life can be too busy, demanding and finding time to rest your mind isn’t easy. I wanted to embody the feeling of wanting to escape reality and find yourself somewhere where all responsibilities fade but going on holiday isn’t enough. Growing up I was deeply obsessed with the Rainbow Magic books and I guess they sparked the idea of the hopes for a fairy realm we all could escape to and live in and forget all our worries!”
Produced by Fionn and mastered by Scott Clarke, “Home” promises to be a highlight in Izzii Grace’s growing discography.
Fans can catch Izzii Grace live at upcoming shows, including the BSide and Beer Festival on August 25th, Blue House Yard with Turtle Tempo on August 31st, The Gladstone Arm on October 6th, and a performance in Pontefract on November 7th.
