Georgia Alexandra to release her beautiful new single, ‘Leave This Town Tonight’ in January

On our search for the artists we’re most excited about in 2024 we stumbled upon the wonderful Georgia Alexandra and as luck would have it, she set to release hew new single – the beautiful ‘Leave This Town Tonight’ on 12th January. You can pre-save the single here.

The 23-year-old wrote the ballad in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, to which she states that “it’s quite ironic when you listen to the lyrics”. She recorded the pop/indie track in September 2023 in Worcester, UK and discloses “it’s about the feeling of needing to leave a place, situation or person. I think so many of us have felt this way at one moment or another throughout our lives; the need to just run away”. Despite being somewhat of a sad song, the dreamy track with soft deep vocals and a catchy melody also has a certain hopefulness and lightness to it. 

Georgia Alexandra’s pop/indie music is a mix of real life occurrences and potential scenarios, with relatable lyrics and captivating melodies that tie it all together. She has gained millions of streams over the past couple of years with numerous releases in collaboration with DJs and producers from all around the world in genres such as electronic and deep house, among others. What’s more, she attended the JBL x Martin Garrix Music Academy in Amsterdam after being selected alongside 39 other fellow artists. The young artist is ready to share the world of music she has been working on for so long and, despite being an independent artist doing it all on her own, she is determined to keep growing and becoming the musician she has always aspired to be.
