Their music instantly captivates and they have everything there from the start that will see them become a huge stadium-filling star. We reckon that Clionagh is one such artist and her new single, ‘Guess We Tried’, is as good as or even better than anything else we’ve heard this year.

The Liverpool based singer’s debut is a powerhouse track that pretty much sets out everything you need to know about her. Talking about the track Clionagh says “‘Guess We Tried’ was one of the most heart-wrenching songs I’ve ever written. If I wasn’t self-aware before, writing this song certainly brought me to that state. It wasn’t just an honest recount of a failed relationship; it was a wake-up call. It pushed me to recognize the bad behaviour I see too commonly in men and to walk away from situations that no longer serve me, and from spaces where the doors are not just closed but burning down, lol. This is why I decided that I wanted this song to be an empowering anthem—for all the girls who have struggled with too much bullsh*t!”
